Anti-slip Installation Guideline

Slip resistant flooring for ramps, stair treads, walkways, platforms, bridges & decking

The panels can be installed in any weather and can be used immediately after installation. They must always be fully supported. We recommend the following fixings:

Timber Fixing

Use four nails per unit 600mm long. nail should ideally be as close as possible to the edge ensuring they penetrate into sound timber. Alternatively stainless steel screws can be used for greater security.

Concrete Fixing

Panels should be predrilled & countersunk to accomodate zincplated or stainless steel anchors. Holes should be 1 mm larger then the screw diameter to allow for movement.

Open Mesh Fixing

Stainless steel or zinc plated Saddle Clips & domed headed bolts suitable in length for the depth of the existing mesh.

Steel Plate Fixing

Use No 8x20mm Self Tapping pan pozi stainless steel or Philips zinc plated screws.

Alternatively, Anti-slip can be glued to sound clean dry surfaces, using a suitable high strength gap-filling adhesive.
