The Anti-slip panel is a composite of
glass fibre polyester resin and stone. Its
fine aggregate surface is overbonded with
clear resin to give a long lasting anti-slip
surface.
The panel is ideal for high traffic areas
where a long lasting anti-slip surface is
required.
Application
Anti-slip panels; easy to install on your old
or new metal, concrete or wooden
Free
Cutting (cut to your exact requirement, no wastage) Easy
to install (just screw fix or nail it straight
on tops of your installation) No
down time involved (can be walked on immediately
after installation) Maintenance
Free (use water and a mild detergent to clean) Exceptionally
tough and durable product British
manufactured (no surcharge due to import) Can
be easily trimmed on site Unaffected
by extremes of climate
Tested by RAPRA technology
The panels were tested on the TRRL Pendulum tester
for both wet and dry conditions. They achieved
average ratings of 101 dry and 65 wet. Anything
above 65 is classed as excellent. The
surface roughness was measured with a Surtronic
10 Rz roughness meter and was found to
average 106 µm. The Health & Safety
Executive require a surface roughness of at least
10 µm in water
wet conditions. RAPRA
Concluded- " From the results obtained on
the Stoneflex sample received it would be
classified as having
"Low" potential for slip, this is substantiated
by the high roughness value".
Alternatively,
Anti-slip can be glued to sound clean dry surfaces,
using a suitable high strength gap-filling adhesive.
