low impact areas or for bonded panels a 3-4mm thickness
is available.
Fixing
Fixings are placed at a maximum 300mm centres along
each stud.
Studs should be at maximum 400mm centres.
Panel Joints
Panels joints may be left open or covered with cover
strips or by use for proprietary plastic extrusions.
Cutting
Suitable circular saws, with appropriate blades can
be employed ensuring that there is either dust extraction
equipment or sawing is carried out in a well-ventilated
area.
Hacksaws are convenient for small notches, trimmings
or openings.
Site Work and handling
Moduflex should be handled and stored with reasonable
care on site.
The panels should be sorted away from the direct influence
of the weather on smooth, level ground pallets under
cover and away from roadways, paths and direct foot
traffic.
Temporary stacking on timber bearers spaced at 400m
centres should be no more than 900mm high.
