Storage and Transport Procedure

The pallets when completed are wrapped in a thick polythene sheet. The sheet encompasses the panels on all sides, ensuring that the polythene overlaps the pallet. The Polythene is then secured by plastic banding with cardboard angle sections placed underneath to protect the panels when applying tension.

When the storage advice labels, are placed under the protecting cover, additional cling film is placed around the panels. It is concentrating on sections which protrude and the bottom section of the pallet where the polythene is stapled to the timber of the pallet.

It is recommended that Stoneflex panels are stored in a dry, well ventilated area. If it is necessary to store on site, the pallets must be:

kept clear of wet ground.
covered against inclement weather.
Protected/Covered from site traffic activities.
